CLAY PLAY - MUGS

Beginner friendly ceramics class

Experience the joy of crafting your own unique mug under the expert guidance of Sara Ekua Todd. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll embark on a creative journey to bring your ideal mug design to life.

Event Details:

• Pick your ideal date & time

• Location: 625 W Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90813

• Price: $80 per participant

• Age Requirement: Participants must be aged 13 or above, with those aged 13-16 accompanied by a guardian.

Workshop Outline:
Receive personalized instruction from Sara as she leads you through the entire mug-making process, from shaping the handle to adding embellishments.

• Exploration of Techniques:
  While the focus is on crafting the handle, you'll have the opportunity to explore additional techniques such as carving into the clay or adding unique embellishments to personalize your mug. This workshop does not include throwing on the wheel.

• Materials Provided:
  Each participant will be provided with a colored clay mug and all necessary materials to make your unique mug.

• Ceramic Finishing & Care:
  The pieces will be bisque fired and glazed in Sara’s studio by herself and will be available for pick-up 2-3 weeks after. Shipping is possible for an extra fee.

Included in the Workshop:

• One (1) mug.

• Finishing of the mug (glazing and firing).

What to Bring:

• Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing that they don't mind getting a bit of clay on.

Cancelation Policy:

• Workshops are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the workshop you may transfer it to another person. Please confirm with me first.
